Each of the belt halves are attached by a respective joint and extend along a longitudinal axis of the belt such that each belt half extends outwardly from a respective longitudinal edge of the absorbent structure, Each of the joints between the belt half and the absorbent structure is designed so that when each belt half is subjected to a tension force of 35 N acting along the longitudinal axis of the belt, the longitudinal axis of the belt creates an angle to the transverse axis of the absorbent structure.
